This was a renovation project initiated by an accidental fire that caused extensive damage to a home already in a state of renovation. My clients chose to take advantage of their misfortune and rebuild their home, not as it had been, but in a way that would allow them to make better use of their space both internally as well as externally. The new plan creates an integrated, open living area where the functions of kitchen, dining and family areas all enjoy a new immediate connection to each other as well as with a wonderful, spacious back yard.
